Back to the queue Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This explains what the LedGengar's Ghosty Games break queue (the "queue") collects and how it's used. The queue shows the status of live-break orders during Twitch and YouTube streams.
What is collected
Logging in with Twitch:
- Twitch user ID, username, and display name.
- Whether the account moderates the channel. Twitch asks permission to read the list of channels the account moderates. Only this channel is looked for in that list, and the list isn't kept.
- The role given in the queue (viewer, mod, streamer, or developer), the login time, and a record that the Twitch username has logged in.
Continuing as a guest (no account needed):
- A random guest ID is created for the session, so the queue can be shown. No name, email, or other personal details are collected.
- The username a guest types is saved only in their own browser and is used to highlight their orders. It isn't sent to the server.
From orders placed in the Shopify store:
- Order number, the live-break items, quantity, and the Twitch or YouTube name linked to the order.
- Any note the buyer typed on the order. Staff can remove a note from the queue.
- Shopify's internal order and customer IDs are scrambled before they're stored.
Real names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and payment details are not put in the queue. Those stay in Shopify, which has its own policies. Please don't put private information in an order note.
What others can see
Anyone logged in can see the queue: Twitch or YouTube names, order numbers, items, quantities, and order notes. Mods and the streamer see the same information plus their controls. The stream overlay never shows notes.
Chat messages
When an order is next in line and when its break starts, a bot may post a message in Twitch chat that mentions the buyer's Twitch username. This only happens for Twitch usernames that have logged in to the queue, and it can be switched off at any time. YouTube names are never pinged.
How it's used
- Showing where each order is and its status.
- Highlighting a person's own orders when they're logged in.
- Giving mods and the streamer the controls to run the queue.
- Keeping the queue secure and fixing problems.
Information isn't sold, and the queue has no ads or analytics trackers.
Browser storage
A small amount of information is saved in the browser: the login session, when it started, light or dark mode, whether controls are shown, and the name a guest or YouTube viewer types to highlight their orders. Logins last 12 hours, then the person logs in again. No advertising cookies are used.
Services that handle data
- Google Firebase hosts the site, stores queue data and login records, and runs the server code.
- Twitch provides the Twitch login. Twitch's Privacy Notice applies to Twitch accounts.
- Shopify runs the store, sends order details to the queue, and hosts the product picture shown on the current order. Loading that picture shares a visitor's IP address with Shopify's image servers, like any picture on a website.
How long it's kept
Finished orders are deleted automatically 5 weeks after they're marked done. Orders still in line stay until they're finished or removed. Login records stay until deletion is requested.
Security
The queue is served over HTTPS, access is limited by role and expires after 12 hours, and private records can only be reached by the server. No online service can promise perfect security, so report anything that looks wrong to the address below.
Choices
- Log out at any time with the Log out button.
- Remove the queue's access to a Twitch account in Twitch settings under Connections. Guests can clear the saved name by logging out and clearing the site's data in the browser.
- Ask to see or delete what's held about you by emailing the address below.
Age
The queue isn't meant for children under 13, which is also Twitch's minimum age. If a child's information is in the queue, contact us and it will be removed.
Changes
If this changes, this page and its date will be updated.
